Privacy Policy

We collect only what is needed to provide and secure the Service:

• Account information — your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), and the details of team members you invite.
• Business information — business name, contact details, address, tax registration number, logo, outlets and terminals you set up.
• Business records you enter — products, prices, inventory, sales, returns, shifts, expenses, suppliers, accounting entries, and your customers' details (such as names, phone numbers and loyalty balances).
• Technical information — IP address, browser type and request logs needed to operate and protect the Service. The app stores your sign-in session in your browser's local storage; the website stores only your light/dark theme preference.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell personal information.

• To create and operate your account and provide the Service's features.
• To send service emails such as email verification, team invitations and password resets.
• To manage your trial and subscription, and to respond to your requests.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To meet legal obligations.

When you record information about your own customers, staff or suppliers in POSENTRA, you decide what is collected and why. We process that information on your behalf, only to provide the Service to you, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for informing those people as required by law.

We share information only with:

• Infrastructure and email-delivery providers that host the Service and send its emails on our behalf.
• People in your own business whom you give access, according to the roles and permissions you set.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to do so.

Connections to the Service are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored as secure hashes, access inside each business is controlled by roles and per-outlet permissions, and each business's data is kept separate from every other business. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and remove access for team members who leave.

We keep your data for as long as your account exists so that your records remain available — including in read-only form if your trial ends or your subscription is cancelled. You can ask us to delete your account and business data; we will do so unless we must keep certain records to meet legal obligations.

You can access and correct most information directly in the app and export reports. To request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data, contact us at info@getposentra.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data-protection law.

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children.

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and notify account owners of significant changes.
